The R.E.T.A.R.D. is the Real-time Equalizing Transmogrifying Audio Routing Device. Its purpose is to act as an audio multiplexer of sorts, with functionality including volume controls, equalizers, and a simple impulse response filter. It will be controllable through both physical interface and UDP. More information (including specifications and code) will be documented on this site as it is created. A simple diagram documenting the function of the R.E.T.A.R.D. is shown below.![]() After the R.E.T.A.R.D. is successfully designed, it will be physically implemented and will function in its designer's room as an audio router, a catalyst for technical conversation, and an added fire hazard. |
